They are really heavy so they can only walk quickly but can't run The true facts: 1.There are about 800 popular breeds of domestic cows (plus many types of wild cows) 2. Cows were first domesticated in India and the Middle east, 10,000 years ago 3.Cows weigh 300 to 3,000 pounds when they are fully grown. My sightings of this animal: I saw about 45 of these cows.
